Germany funds reopening of the Adolescent Resource Centre (The ARC)

Through the support (1,56 Mio Jam $) of the German Embassy, on October 19th 2016, ARC (under the umbrella of the The Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation (WCJF))is able to  reopen the Adolescent Resource Centre for the Kingston Metropolitan Region and St. Catherine.  The ARC offers a  multifaceted slate of services, answers the silent call of adolescents in Jamaica and offers opportunities for young people to access quality sexual and reproductive health services (SRH), information, education, and individual counselling to reduce the risk of early pregnancy and HIV/STI infections, counselling with issues of their pregnancy, contraceptive counselling & methods etc.
