The Consular Department

The legal and consular section of the Embassy ensures - together with the Honorary Consuls in the Bahamas and the Turks & Caicos Islands - that German citizens who reside in the Embassy's jurisdiction get assistance within the framework of legal and practical possibilities should they require advice or assistance. Citizens of the host countries (Jamaica, Cayman Islands  and Turks & Caicos Islands) as well as citizens of third countries who reside permanently in one of the countries within the jurisdiction are entitled to use the services of the legal and consular section of the Embassy.

Every German national residing, even temporarily, in the consular district of the Embassis may be registered on a Crisis Prevention List in accordance with Article 6 paragraph (3) of the German Consular Act.
